Mark, I really think you should do it. I mean, you get to go up Mount Buffalo! (BTW, I'm assuming there are no Buffalo in OZ, which makes the mountains name a little odd, does it look like a buffalo or something?)

In your last post you were saying that you're at the back of the pack. Do you pass these guys when you climb?

Comment on riding on hot days (see Mark's link). On the hottest day of the summer so far in Indiana we went out on a long ride. A bunch of the guys in the group would stop at different gas stations and buy ice to put in their jersey pockets and in the front of their jerseys near their kidneys. ANyway, I tried it out, and it is actually pretty effective.

Just a thought for when summer hits you, and you have to put away the booties :-)
