The Shape of Speed

well, folks. it's been a long time coming. a big thank you to lynn for having patience for me through the gross amount of time it took me to get my dream bike.

here it is. it's a 2003 cervelo P3, with dura-ace 9 speeds ... was a pretty good deal compared to whats going. i've already replaced the saddle and tires (not shown), since they were both crap. will give it a good test on saturday as the training gets stepped up a bit with a looming half ironman 5 weeks out ...

That's right hetti, no smackdowns. Thank you Steve.

Umm, yeah, the original saddle was Selle Italia, but all the stitching is really a nuisance after several hours of sittin on it ... went with another I-talian brand: http://www.fizik.it/

Hmm, isn't running with an iPod kind of a safety hazard? ... i guess if you are running on a track or treadmill it'd be alright ...

That ride is sweet as mate!!!
Very nice!
I'm all about running with music. I carry an mp3 player, but have it on radio more than anything. It's that useless trivia detail the dj's give you that is so valuable I think (and some of us have an amazing retention capacity for this information).
