11. pre-race nutrition: at my brother's recommendation, we went out for a burger and fries the night before the race. and, what can i say, it didn't hurt! great burger too ... i've definitely added "moderne burger" (broadway avenue in kits) to my list of vancouver's "cheap eats". compares quite favourably to our local BurgeRepublic here in Melbourne.
