Getting humbled in the pool, eh?
Good morning.
Here was our workout this morning 10x100 on 2 mins warm up. 8x400 -- 2@7:00 mins, 2@6:45, 2@6:30, 2@7:00. After doing the first 400 on 6:20, I knew I was in big trouble. On the first 400 on 6:30 (the fifth one), I got called off by the coach, meaning I wait until the others do 50, jump on and only do 300. Thankfully, I wasn't the only straggler. After all that madness, 400 cool down for a grand total of 4500 on the day, my third longest swim lifetime. Ouch. Thank you, coffee.
Hetti, getting humbled is the name of the game down here. Oh, speaking of Mitch, I just signed him on as my coach. So, the humbling is just getting started.
Cheers,
Mark

That is one crazy workout - your arms must be falling off!
Steve and I just joined an adult training group at the outdoor 50m pool. Swimming outside is really fun - except for the backstroke. Apparently, I do use the line on the ceiling to keep myself going straight. I must have run into each lane rope at least 10 times during each 50m.
