Cold!
Well, we've had our coldest week here in Melbourne. Yesterday, the high was only 11. Cool on the bike, but still comfortable. And, this morning for my run, I'd guess it was about 5 degrees.
And, Hobart (which is the capital of Tasmania, a couple hundred kilometres south of mainland Australia) got snow ... it's pretty big news:

Oh yeah, 5 deg celc, friggin freezing, how do you handle it? Have you even had to break out the booties yet????
It's summer here right now, where we're dealing with the opposite problem of biking in some rather hot heat, but we'll still bottom out way below 5.
I think I need my own blog.....We'll see...

I agree 5 deg isn't cold, but 5 with no insulation in the houses is 8 inside. Insulated housed and central heating are luxuries over here.
That said, suck it up!
PS My new flat in Parnell is much warmer. Big difference having not all exterior walls like the backyard barn I was in before. Oh yeah, and I have my own ensuite and private patio and I'm right downtown. Sweet as Bro! (that's kiwi for cool)

Some pictures from my North Island travels were of woman in bikinis. They were a requirement for the boys on my hockey team back home (that my story and I'm sticking to it). No men or me in bikinis but woman as it should be! Hetti must have me confused with someone else...not that there's anything wrong with men wearing bikinis...no wait, there is lots!

uh... the "pictures" that jay is referring to as a requirement were him getting over his pervy stage
