Resist the "culture of death"
OK, I don't think anything infuriates me more than crap like this:

Maybe I'm too much of a scientist ... but, hello, it's *not* popular culture, it's *not* fuzzy thinking, it's blatent predjudice ...
it's called nature, it's not a human invention:

Anybody with me?

I agree its dumb. However, I think the real solution is probably to get rid of any state notion of marriage. Polygamy must now be legalized, and this is going to play havok with family law which is mostly formed around the number 2, not to mention costs of family benefits, taxes, etc....

why must polygamy be legalized?

For mostly the same reasons, as I see it, that gay marriage should have been legalized(as long as it's between consenting adults (no children)). Banning it seems to go against equality and religious rights and it seems to me to be discrimenatory to make it illegal. It is definitely a fairly normal human trend, being practiced in many parts of the world, and it discriminates against several religions. In fact, I rather expect a challenge by either a group of muslims or mormans.
Finally, for those who say that this is somehow different and the polygamists can marry, as long as it's only one other person, are using the logical same argumet as the notorious Jason Kenny, who suggested it was not discriminatory ban gay marriage as a gay person had every right to marry, so long as it was a person of the opposite sex.
